This is what people are saying about our unique Climbers Salve

Bentley Brackett - Knoxville, TN
What is so unique about J Tree is that it actually works! There are a lot of products that I have used over the years to repair skin - cuts, scratches, nicks, bites etc. including Hoofmaker, vitamin E capsules, various brands of lotion, Corn Huskers, Climb-On.....you get the point. You know J Tree is different as soon as you open it, you can smell and feel the difference, it does not have that waxy feeling of Vaseline and you can smell the magic inside! I use J Tree whether my hands are beat up from a day of climbing or shredded from cruel evil manual labor.

J Tree is the magic sauce!

I first heard about (j-tree) from a friend in Arkansas (Samantha Fisher) and on a trip to J Tree picked up a couple jars of it at Nomad Ventures in J Tree. I come home to Horseshoe in Arkansas to find that they have it too and I could have had this stuff all along. Anyway, granite to volcanic to sandstone this stuff keeps my tips fresh. Day after day. Thanks for helping us out!

A good friend and I got severe wind burn after snowboarding on cold and windy day. Our faces were red, chapped, and sensitive. We tried the new Face Stick and to our supprise it worked wonderfully. The face stick revived color, mosturized, and healed our skin within a few hours. I was totally amazed, it worked perfectly! The other people in our group were skepticle and did not use the product, the next morning their faces were still red and chapped. I also use this product for the dry skin on my face, and it works without causing breakouts. I'm a true beleiver, Thanks Joshua Tree!!

Hi
I first received your climbing salve at Infittera's adventure race in December, The Chill. At the MMBA meeting, I think it was in February, I bought your tea. I just did another adventure race last week-end, Diamonds & Dirt, and received another sample. The climbing salve came in handy when I took a spill while biking at Pontiac Lake this week-end. I had a nasty scrape and bruise and put some on. Not sure this was the intended use but it worked great. I've also used it to lube up my toes before running because I didn't have any body glide. Again, not sure that was the intended use but it worked.
Why the testimonial you may be asking yourself? I enjoy and believe in your products. I'm with the group Southern Michigan Adventure Racing Teams (SMART). We formed an LLC in December to put on our first urban adventure race in Pontiac, MI. The race is on May 31. For more info, see our web-site www.smartblast.org. If your interested in participating in any way let me know. I thought this might be a good opportunity to market your products.

I got a couple of the little samples of the Joshua Tree Climbing Salve at the comp last weekend, and absolutely LOVE that stuff! It's alot like Climb On Creme, but I like the Lavender scent so much better!!! Was it you that contacted them for sponsorship of the limestoner? THANKS!! In any case, I really want to buy some of it and was wondering if you know where I can get some. Let me know what you know. :-)...
I guess this really shows that sending samples really does work for these product mfr's to get new customers!
Thanks so much! :-)

Friends,
I have just returned from a climbing trip to JTree. Used the Salve for the first time on small climbing cuts and skin cracks from cold weather here in Tennessee. Put it on and taped the places overnight and next day I was good. Amazing.
Saturday afternoon my wife was stung by one of our honeybees. A dab on the sting and next morning there was no lingering soreness at all. I've been stung in the same place (my forehead) and the soreness lasted several days.
Waiting to hear from my son if it helped his sunburn this weekend. You have a true healing balm.
There are several places here in Nashville I'd be happy to take samples to if you're interested.
Thanks,

Catriona Jackson
I am relatively new to the sport of climbing so after my first indoor climbing competition, my hands hurt in a way that I m not used to. It was very uncomfortable but J-tree climbing salve provided instant relief from the pain. It also smells nice and would be good to use as a hand cream in dry climates.

"J-Tree is the Beez Neez!"
YO! my name is eric gifford, a Red Bull athlete. in the last four years on the road i been every where from Rumney, to Hueco, and now tearing it up in Arkansas. i pull down until my little digits bleed. i try and i try and then try again. the lack of skin on my tips hurts to the point of me thinking of going to the hospital, but then i remember i have some of your life saving product in my bag. in hueco j tree kept me from tearing my tips off. thank you so much for making a product that i can rave about to everyone with thrashed tips. keep up the great work!!!

Jeremy Collins - Senior Illustrator, Rock & Ice
I just wanted to write and let you know I have recently become a huge fan of your climbing salve. I received a mini salve at the Horseshoe Hell climbing competition in Arkansas last year. After 4500 feet of climbing I didn't think ANYTHING would repair my ragged paws. I realized this weekend, that your salve has become as much a staple of my travels as gasoline and local burgers!

Thank you for making such a great product. I can't wait to try your other intriguing products!

Samantha Fisher - Fayetteville, AR
J-tree, I absolutely love your product. I used to use ClimbOn, it was fine, but there is something about J-tree that my fingers LOVE. I climb here in Arkansas, mostly sandstone, and a group of us are working on developing some new climbing areas. New sandstone will eat your tips away.I find that a night of relaxing and applying J-tree keeps me able to pull hard that next day. I let some of my friends use some of the tub that I have and now I am out, good thing my fingers need a break for a few days.

Dr. Aga Bednarz - Kiteboarder, GI doctor
I started using your salve after climbing with some friends. I have found that it is absolutley awesome after kiteboarding, and to treat the latex glove chap I get after working long days in the hospital. I recently gave a patient the remains of my jar as a last chance to treat her Hemorrhoids. None of the over-the-counter or prescription treatments were effective for her, and if this didn't work, surgery was the next step. A day later she informed me that it was "the greatest thing since sliced bread!" Have you considered this market, and can you send me a new jar? Thanks

Torrent - Aussie crag dog
After a long day at the cliff, running around on the rock and wrestling with the other cliff dogs - sometime my paws just hurt... i don't really understand the details of it... but my dad puts J-Tree on my paws... and as long as i don't lick it off (Tast-ee!), I'll be ready to romp tomorrow!

Laurel Hata - Climbngurl
Thing I love about "JTree" is that it really works. I use it for everything from blown out finger tips from climbing, to healing scrapes from MTB crashes, to swelling and itchyness from mosquito bites - and more! It lets you play hard and it smells good too!

Max Seigal - College Student - Climbing Major
I met you a few weeks ago down at the red (i was in the group that bought the chalk, and shirts) and just wanted to let you know that I love joshua tree climbing salve. After working hard routes that lead to blisters, the salve heals my hands super quickly and actually reduces the pain.
I love the stuff, keep up the good work.

Alex Johnson, Womens Pro Climber
I just wanted to say that your climbing salve is awesome! I seriously will not go clmbing without it and if I do forget it I will just buy a whole new container, that's how important it is to me! haha. I was recently at the OR Tradeshow comp and a guy sitting behind me offered me some salve after I got done competing and I just wanted to say THANKS! my fingers were burning! And I really appreciated it! I didn't catch his name --i think it might have been Dave? But anyway...

Thanks again your salve has added many extra climbing days to many trips! :)

Dave Mayville, climber and guide for 20 years
I've been climbing and guiding for 20 years and I've used a lot of different salves, creams, and lotions. Chalk dries the hell out of your hands. As an abrasion deterrent, and for dry cracked skin, a one day application of this salve is the best that I've ever encountered in my years of climbing.

Jiles Perry

Hello,
I just wanted to send a Thank You to your company for sponsoring the Sterling Ropes Goddesses on the Rocks weekend on Apr 19-20. I was the recipient of some of your wonderful climbing salve, lip balm, chalk and outrageously fragrant and delicious tea.
I hope you continue to support events like this one, and please know that your sponsorship is greatly appreciated. I am so glad to know about your company and will purchase your products in the future!

dave- I started rock climbing in september and some of the guys that i go with have been raving about this salve. none of them have any though and we havent been able to find it here in tulsa oklahoma. one of my guys had a birthday a few days ago so i went ahead and ordered him some and picked up some for myself, my brother and my boyfriend. ive been told that your products can be found at climbing competitions but i wont be at one until this july. im really looking forward to giving this stuff a try.

Steven Charles
david, just wanted to let you know i got my order, and it's great stuff man! thanks. I'm not sure where I heard about you guys first, but I have lots of friends who use the salve and I think I ran into a guy at hueco that had the herbal chalk, a welcome scent after a week of living in a tent and throwing yourself at a rock.

Josh Ogle
I love your Joshua tree climbing salve. But, I recently bought both kinds of chalk that you offer from Moosejaw and it isn't that great. I got it in the mail yesterday and went to the gym to try it out, I thought I would climb a 5.13 that I on-sighted last week, I didn't even get half way up becuase I kept slipping off. I came down grabed my friends chalk bag and got to the top. I don't know what it is but the chalk is so slippery, chalk if supposed to help get rid of the sweat on your hands so you don't slip off, this chalk does the opposite. I love your products and the chalks smell great but there is something in them that make it slippery. please fix this because I love your products.
- We Reformulated the chalk, and sent Josh a sample -
The new chalk is so much better, no slippage and smells great. Thanks a lot for letting me try it out. I'll definitely be ordering some more.

Chris Moeller Hello! I just started using your chalk. I love it! I received as a gift from my great friend and climbing partner. The reason I am emailing you is because I noticed you were in Pickney, MI. I drive through there quite frequently and was wondering if you had a store there? I love your products and I would like to save on some shipping (and the wait time, I love the products...) and continue to support you the best I can. Do you make the chalk in Pickney? Thank you for your time!

I work as an Emergency Room physician. As such I probably wash my hands 50 plus times a day using very harsh soaps. I've since developed very dry, chapped, and frequently cracked palms. I've tried many products to help not only prevent my hands from becoming worse, but hopefully to also help them heal. Even high strength prescription salves, creams, steroids and lotions have done little to improve what has become a chronic condition. On really bad days, after several shifts in a row, the cracks can get so deep and painful, I resort to Super Glue to seal them and prevent them from hurting with the continued washings necessary in my work environment. The topical's that have seemed to provide the most benefit are not useable at work as they leave my hands as greasy as if I'd simply stuck them in a jar of Vaseline, certainly not friendly to work with any ways. It was actually while putting the slate pieces back on our pool table, and sealing them with bees wax that I noticed the wax seemed to provide a soft, flexible, non-greasy protective layer on my hands. As a result I've been searching the internet, as well as local pharmacies and health food/supplement outlets for compounds containing bees wax. I chanced upon your web site through a Google search. I know what the hands of avid climbers can look like after a single days activities, and figure if your product can help those frequently abused hands, it has to offer me some relief as well. So, I eagerly await your products to trial and test in my own harsh environment.

Nicole
I heard about you guys from friends who go climbing in new paltz and they bought some salve at a shop up there. I'm hoping it will soothe my boyfriends cracked hands too!! they rave about it so i thought i'd give it a try..I may try the bike salve you have too, there are definately a few times when i know that would have been helpful!

A friend of mine is a climber and uses your salve. I was visiting him and my son got a pretty bad diaper rash. He said he used it for all kind of random things & that it may work for me. It worked beautifully & it's all we've used since.

Climbers around the country will apprectiate Joshua Tree Climbing Salve ($12.50 for a two-ounce jar), a soothing mix of organic herbs (including echinacea, chaparral and comfrey) in a base of sunflower oil and beeswax, among other oils. As someone who suffers from split fingertips and chapped hands, I can vouch for this balm's healing properties. It goes on a bit goopy, but the moisture is quickly absorbed, soothing minor nicks and splits.

Gobies: Always get 'em, but what to do about 'em? The next time your flesh is fried, check out Joshua Tree Climbing Salve ($12.50, 2-ounce container). This concoction of natural substances- including echinacea, jojoba, and beeswax- will ease the sting and hasten your recovery.

If you climb a lot at Josh, and your technique is as sloppy as mine, you're going to draw blood. Don't despair! Joshua Tree Climbing Salve is my salvation...

Just got back from 3 weeks of climbing, mostly in Croatia. Put on the salve every night, every morning, worked great thanks! I'm always happy to support quality product - yours is sold at our local climbing gym,Thrillseekers, in Denver.

David Sharratt, climber, guide, alpinist
I was writing because I have been amazed at the efficacy of you climbing salve. My friend and climbing partner Greg Shyloski has been letting me use his and the days of ending a session due to lack of skin or split tips are over, so thank you! I am starting to feel bad using his all the time, so I'd like to get some for myself. Thanks, Greg.

Just wanted to say thank you. I used your lip balm to treat a fever blister and it worked 100 times better than newest patented medications made especially for fever blisters. It took just 4 days to heal the blister completely.
